[doveofo] You can Help Save Jobs, Businesses, and Homes; Your Family Members
February 27, 2009 9:50 p.m. PST
Hello Dear Friends and White Knights,
YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS
This week I saw an Oprah show where Lisa Ling went to a tent city
outside Sacramento, CA. (You can see this tent city on you-tube too.)
The people in the tent city spoke to Lisa and most of them had had
homes and jobs until recently. Most of them were looking for work
nearly every day.
What struck my heart is that there were parents of living adult
children in the tent city and time after time when Lisa asked them if
they had family anywhere, they said “yes” but they did not want to be
a burden to their children. Some said they called their adult
children every few weeks or each month but never told their children
they were homeless or had lost their jobs.
I lost my Mom on April 2, 2007 and I lost my father to cancer 14 days
later. Some of you may still have parents living or other family
members who could be having a terrible time in this economy but do not
want to ask you for help. If my father or mother or siblings were
having a hard time in this economy, I would want to help them if I had
a home I could share. If you have a family member who might be
homeless, please think about contacting them and offering to share
your home if you can.
Many people are homeless this year due to no fault of their own.
Sharing a home with relatives can be a blessing if you need child care
or help in the home. Please help others if you are able.
Oprah’s show also featured an organization in California which helps
people with homes find renters to live in the home and pay rent and
everyone benefits. The website was about “House Share” and I think it
is only for California. One husband and wife opened up their house to
rent a large bedroom to a working mother, a flight attendant, and her
college student daughter. The organization checked out potential
renters. The house sharing is working out well for them. Please
consider house sharing if you have a home.
YOU CAN HELP SAVE JOBS, BUSINESSES, AND HOMES
I sent the following note out to the US NESARA Take Action Teams a few
days ago. Some of you who are not in the NTAT may also be able to
help.
I heard on the news a few days ago that the Fed is considering “rule
changes” which will enable the banks to make more loans. This is what
is needed; you can help.
You may feel frustrated about the high level of unemployment and home
foreclosures that are continuing and want to do something to stop the
loss of jobs and ongoing foreclosures. WE, together, may be able to
help save jobs, businesses, and stop foreclosures.
If you’ve been reading the Dove Reports, you know that I have been
writing about the truth that the banks HAVE the money to loan to
businesses and people, but the “Regulators” are telling the banks not
to do loans.
On February 11, 2009 at 2:05 pm PST, Chris Matthews, who hosts the
“Hardball” news show on MSNBC, interviewed US Representative Pete King
of the 3rd District of New York state about the problem of the banks
not making loans even though the banks have been given money by the
government.
Representative Pete King said: “The Regulators are telling the banks
to hold more cash…” and therefore the banks are not making loans.
Banks could be making loans to businesses currently. Many businesses
have received yearly lines of credit and loans to enable the
businesses to run and the businesses pay back the loans every year
with their profits from business. Because banks are not making
business loans, more businesses are shutting down and laying off
employees.
The following information is taken from the Federal Reserve’s website,
http://www.federalreserve.gov/aboutthefed/mission.htm , regarding the
“mission” of the Fed:
* conducting the nation's monetary policy by influencing the monetary
and credit conditions in the economy in pursuit of maximum employment,
stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates
* supervising and regulating banking institutions to ensure the safety
and soundness of the nation's banking and financial system and to
protect the credit rights of consumers
Please notice two things: 1) the Fed is “…regulating banking
institutions…” and 2) the Fed is supposed to do things to enable
“…maximum employment…”.
The Fed is the ONLY USA “Regulator” telling banks to hold onto their
cash and to not make loans. Therefore, the Fed is NOT doing its job.
I am asking you to help spread the word that the Fed is causing job
losses by telling the banks NOT to make loans and businesses are
shutting down. When people don’t have jobs, they cannot make mortgage
payments. The Fed is causing the financial crisis to get worse.
Please send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper to point
out this error by the Fed which is causing people to lose their jobs.
You may also post the same information on blogs or other websites.
Just so you know, most newspapers do let you post a letter to the
editor on their internet website. The newspaper website will ask for
a phone number where they can call you to check that you did send the
letter to the editor.
I know some of you do not like to write letters, so I am writing a
short letter here which you may use or modify for a letter you can
send to the editor or post on a blog or website.
Sample letter:
On February 11, 2009, US Representative Pete King from NY said the
“… Regulators…” are telling the banks to hold cash and not make loans.
Because the banks are not making loans, unemployment is going up with
more people being laid off and companies going out of business. The
“Regulator” in the US is the Federal Reserve. The Fed is supposed to
enable maximum employment but is now making the economy worse. The
Fed must start telling the banks to make loans again.
Your name and city
Please HELP get the word out that the Fed must tell the banks to make
loans to help save businesses, jobs, and homes.
